Growing & Flourishing as one group

INVE’s roots started out from integrating poultry farms and slaughterhouses in the early 1970s. As that business matured, INVE began to focus on the basics of animal life : development and application of nutritional building blocks and formulations for the early life stages of livestock.

Through expansion and acquisitions in the '80s, INVE became increasingly involved in the development of nutritional premixes, starters and specialty feeds for piglets, poultry and cattle.

By the early90s, INVE had diversified its nutritional business to include the growing aquaculture sector. Here too, the focus was on providing solutions for nutritional problems in the early life stages of cultured fish and shrimp, particularly marine species. INVE developed a unique range of innovative solutions related to the feeding of baby fish and baby shellfish.

In the mid ‘90s, INVE started its development of nutritional solutions for the ongrowing of marine fish and shrimp.

Toward the end of the ‘90s, INVE acquired the technological and nutritional expertise and production capacity to establish a solid and competitive position as a provider of special ingredients and additives to the industrial animal feed business.

In 2002, INVE initiated the development of a range of solutions targeting three areas of disease prevention in aquaculture: hygiene, control of microbiota and the enhancement of immune response and stress resistance.

Today our scope of action goes as far as enhancing the consumer’s health by providing safe feed for cultured animals that are an important part of our daily diet.

In 2003, INVE also engaged in the aquarium business with the acquisition of Ocean Nutrition, a company specialized in foods for marine and freshwater tropical fish.
