AQUALITY Project (Sea Bream, Sea Bass Quality Improved Through Feed Quality, Feed Management)

To raise the competitiveness of European fish producers, the AQUALITY project evaluated the improvement of cultured product quality through better feed quality and management. In trials, finishing diets improved the appearance of sea bass and sea bream with equivalent or higher performance than that achieved with standard growout diets. Finishing diets also increased essential nutrient levels in final products.
