The use of Fytodigest P on the technical performance of broilers

Increased attention to food safety and sustainable animal production has led to the ban of antibiotic growth promotors by the European Legislation. The mechanism of action of these feed antibiotics was mostly related to the positive effects on the intestinal flora resulting in increased technical peformance. Other strategies to have similar positive effects on intestinal flora and digestive processes are now developed. The use of herbal extract and essential oils is one of these strategies which resulted in the development of Fytodigest P.
