Market approach
Ever since the early days, INVE Aquaculture has always adopted a customer-centered commercial strategy.
When the company was first incorporated as Artemia Systems back in 1983, the aquaculture business was still in its infancy. During its first couple of years of existence, it grew up together with the fish farming pioneers in the Mediterranean area and the shrimp farming pioneers in Latin America and Asia. That way, it learned first-hand which problems and constraints aquaculturists were facing on the way to industrializing this new, sustainable way of rearing seafood. This close interaction with farmers still exists today, and has long been the best school for identifying customer needs and opportunities for new product development.
Being close to the customer is also the basic principle from which Inve Aquaculture set up its commercial infrastructure. Over the past 20 years, it has invested in a commercial network of local presence, which is truely unique in the industry. The so-called "INVE Service Centers" have been set up in every major aquaculture market in Europe, Latin America and Asia. These Service Centers have dedicated commercial people, technical support staff and local warehousing available to guarantee a fast and customer oriented service that is simply unmatched in the industry.
Apart from this form of direct sales to key customers, INVE Aquaculture has also developed a diversified network of reliable, local distributors serving the needs of the farmers in the Asian Pacific market.
