A rotifer diet for a continuous, high performing and high density rotifer culture

Selco^® S.tream exhibits the following characteristics:

• Practical:
  S.tream is a dry rotifer culture product with a long shelf life, allowing high density rotifer culture in continuous culture systems
• High Performing:
  S.tream is designed to be used in high density rotifer cultures with densities ranging between 3.000 and 6.000 Rot/ml, going for a daily harvest of 20% of the rotifer population.
• Clean:
  Correct use of the S.tream is resulting in very clean cultures, without flocks, with low bacterial load and low contamination by other micro-organisms. This even after several weeks of culture.
• Low work load:
  Rotifer cultures can be kept for several weeks without intermediate filtration, resulting in a drastic reduction of the workload.
