Broodstock management is a key activity for all hatcheries. Broodstock is still fed a substantial amount of trash fish, a highly risky and variable product in terms of hygiene and nutrition, while complete substitution diets are available.
The INVE Lansy Breed Concept is the unique original answer to meet quality, safety and economics in broodstock feeding. Lansy Breed is a high quality extruded soft pellet available in three formulations especially designed for the different biological phases in the annual life cycle of spawning breeders:

Fish conditioned on the INVE diet Lansy Breed Maturation spawn more consistently and produce larvae with reduced nutritional variability and a more predictable output.

After spawning, the exhausted fish should also be reconditioned on Lansy Breed Recovery, a diet specially designed to bring the breeders back to their resting phase.

Lansy Breed Pause is offered as the resting phase diet before the next spawning period.
