INVE Aquaculture is recognized as a pioneering solutions provider to the marine aquaculture industry.
As of the early '80s INVE Aquaculture has been working closely together with the initiators of the marine fish and shellfish industry in Europe, Americas and Asia. In this way, the company has been exposed to the problems that hatchery biologists and engineers were facing in developing culture protocols, feeding regimes, biosecurity SOP's etc... Since its establishment, INVE Aquaculture has been investing in research to solve the problems that the young aquaculture industry was fighting at that time... and still is today.

• has established adapted specifications for Artemia cysts and quality guarantees going along with them.
• has pioneered the development of live feed enrichment diets and technologies (SELCO^® range).
• has also invested in the development of ground-breaking products for live feed replacement (micro-encapsulated diets FRIPPAK^®and LANSY^®).
• has lead the way in developing specialized aquaculture premixes and concentrates for aquafeed formulations.
• is now leading the way in the development of specific health products for disease prevention in aquaculture.

Based on the market intelligence from our First Line presence, our Product Managers conduct product design and development with our scientists of INVE Technologies.

Product development is managed by the R&D manager who decides which stags of product development are conducted in-house or in collaboration with Universities or other Centers of Excellence.

Product testing is carried out in-house in INVE Aquaculture's testing centers, at institutes and with customers. INVE Aquaculture has testing centers in Italy (for marine fish larviculture), in Spain (or marine fish ongrowing trials) and in Thailand (for shrimp and soon tropical marine fish culture trials).
 

After testing, the products are released for marketing and sales. The Product Managers are in charge for managing the life cycle of the products and guaranteeing a continued innovation...which is the key to market leadership.
