1991

Artemia systems n.v. is established, a joint venture company with partners Petrofina - Tractebel - University of Ghent for the further development and commercialization of discoveries from Artemia Reference Center (University of Ghent - Belgium). Product portfolio includes Artemia cysts with quality guarantees, the pioneering live food enrichment products known as SELCO®and the dry larval feed range LANSY®.

INVE acquires artemia systems n.v. and forms INVE Aquaculture as a separate division next to its agriculture division.

1991

INVE Aquaculture buys Salt Lake Brine Shrimp (San Fransisco Bay Brand Cy– GSL operations) as a first step in securing its own resources of Artemia cysts from the Great Salt Lake, Utah, US.

1992

INVE Aquaculture sets up its first production plant in Dendermonde, Belgium.

1993

INVE Aquaculture acquires FRIPPAK from France Aquaculture (SANOFI) originally developed by MARS group.

1995

INVE Aquaculture starts investing in Artemia exploitations in Central Asia and China.

1996

INVE Aquaculture invests in further developing its market presence through '1st Line strategy' : development of Service Centers in the main aquaculture markets of Europe, Asia and Americas; and development of INVE shop chains in Thailand and Vietnam and some other Asian markets.

1998

INVE Aquaculture starts developing nutritional products for feed mills including premixes and concentrates.

1999

INVE Aquaculture strengthens its position at the Great Salt Lake in Utah by acquiring over 50% of the Artemia harvest rights.

2000

INVE Aquaculture inaugurates its state-of-the-art production plant in Pichit, Thailand.
 
INVE Aquaculture also sets up its Business Development Aquaculture Health for the development of a portfolio of health products aiming at disease prevention in aquaculture.
 
INVE Aquaculture starts up the Project "MOANA", a significant investment for the domestication and selective breeding of the black tiger shrimp P. monodon.

2004

INVE Aquaculture dissociates MOANA project as an independent entity for the production and supplies of improves black tiger seed.
 

2005

INVE Aquaculture starts investing in the development of nutritional products for molluscs.
 

2007

INVE Aquaculture launches its new business communication style.
